Cultural directory 2026 · Veneto
A current map of museums, foundations, the Biennale and commercial galleries, from San Marco to the lagoon islands.
See Venice differently
A museum city that remains a living laboratory
Venice extends beyond San Marco and the Biennale. Discover Venetian masters at the Accademia, Doge’s Palace, San Rocco and the scuole; modern collections across Dorsoduro; and internationally oriented contemporary art at the Arsenale and private foundations. Murano, Burano and San Giorgio extend the route through glass, textiles, photography and artistic crafts. Addresses and links were cross-checked against current official sources. The commercial badge appears only where a gallery represents artists and genuinely handles acquisitions. To choose from home, also discover our original paintings currently available : our team advises before acquisition, provides packaging adapted to each work and organizes international delivery.

Practical questions
Venice Galleries FAQ
Which neighborhood to choose for a first visit?
Start in Dorsoduro: the Accademia, Palazzo Cini, Peggy Guggenheim, Punta della Dogana and several galleries are easily connected on foot.
Where to buy a work in Venice?
Activate the "Works for sale" filter: only places whose commercial activity is verified bear the badge. You can also browse our collection of original paintings and ask for advice before acquisition.
When to visit the Biennale?
International exhibitions occupy Giardini and Arsenale during their opening period. Consult the official calendar: the pavilions are not accessible all year round.
Can we visit the islands on the same day?
Yes, but limit the stops: San Giorgio, Murano, Burano and Torcello already fill a busy day. Check connections and last boat departures.
