Fragile nets rise above a sea laden with foam

The vertical and oblique poles outline an irregular construction in the center of the canvas. The sheets of net fall between them like large light sails. On the left, the dark coast closes the horizon; on the right, small silhouettes of boats punctuate the sea.

The foreground is occupied by gray-blue rocks and white waves whose curves intertwine. The sky mixes pink, cream and pale blue, while the nets take on purple nuances. Short, arched touches circulate the movement of the water into the air.

The nets appear both monumental and almost immaterial: their pattern stands out from the landscape while allowing the colors of the sky and the sea to pass through.
