The center can be explored on foot; metro and tram extend the visit to LaM, La Piscine, Le Fresnoy and the factories of the textile valley.

Understanding the Lille scene

From Flemish collections to metropolitan laboratories

The Palais des Beaux-Arts and the Hospice Comtesse recall the Flemish and European roots of Lille. Since Lille 2004 then the seasons of Lille3000, the Tripostal, the Gare Saint Sauveur and the Folie houses have installed the exhibition in the heart of the city. Further on, the LaM brings together modern, contemporary and art brut; Roubaix transforms its textile heritage into museums and factories; Tourcoing brings the MUba collections into dialogue with the moving image of Fresnoy. The galleries of Old Lille and the associative places of Fives complete this geography through direct contact with the artists.
