The route brings together a flower garden, an inhabited house and a water garden. To better understand Monet, don't reduce Giverny to the Japanese bridge alone.
Le Clos Normand
In front of the house, the monochrome flower beds, the rose arches and the central aisle make up a plant palette. Allow around 30 to 40 minutes depending on the season.
The house
Living room-workshop, yellow dining room, blue kitchen, bedrooms and collection of Japanese prints show the painter's daily world. Allow 30 to 45 minutes.
The Water Garden

The easiest route from Paris combines a direct train from Saint-Lazare - Vernon-Giverny and the shuttle to the village.
Paris → Vernon
Departure from Paris Saint-Lazare, arrival at Vernon-Giverny. Directs generally take around 45 to 55 minutes. Check the chosen day on SNCF Connect.
Vernon → Giverny
The road shuttle connects the station to the village. Official price announced: €5 per trip or €10 round trip. Check the timetables before booking entry.
