Understand the Rennes scene

From old collections to Exporama laboratories

The Museum of Fine Arts, installed on Quai Émile-Zola then in Maurepas, gives Rennes a double heritage and local anchor. La Criée and 40mcube structure contemporary creation; the Frac Bretagne deploys a major collection in the architecture of Odile Decq in Beauregard. Around them, private galleries, artists' studios, university places and spaces such as Les Ateliers du Vent, Lplac, Basalt or L'Élaboratoire circulate images, editions, sounds and installations. Every summer, Exporama makes this geography particularly readable.
