Futurism was born publicly in 1909 with the manifesto of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, then became clearer in 1910 in the manifestos of painters signed in particular by Boccioni, Carrà, Russolo, Balla and Severini. The movement celebrates the industrial city, transport and speed, while developing radical and sometimes violent rhetoric. Boccioni brings the street into domestic space and breaks down the cyclist's movement.
