Our history

Asian know-how at the service of art lovers

Alpha Reproduction was born from a simple idea: to allow everyone to order a real oil painting, made in the format of their choice, without confusing it with a decorative print.

Based in Thailand, we collaborate with experienced painters in Asia. Their practice covers very different styles: portraits, landscapes, historical scenes, impressionism, academicism, modern art or personalized compositions.

Our role does not stop at transmitting an order. We prepare the reference, monitor the progress, control the result, collect retouching requests and organize international shipping.

Our goalObtain a faithful, expressive and durable painting, while remaining honest about the natural variations of manual labor.

Which guides our work

Four concrete commitments

The quality of a reproduction depends as much on the painter as on the follow-up, reference and communication with the client.

01

A real painting

The color is applied with a brush to a canvas. Relief and touch variations are part of the result.

02

A prepared reference

We check the image, framing, proportions and essential details before starting work.

03

A visual inspection

The finished canvas is photographed before departure so that the client can examine the whole and sensitive areas.

04

Clear communication

We explain deadlines, limits of manual work, packaging and correction possibilities.

From your request to delivery

Our working method

Each order follows a succession of simple steps, with a check before the paint leaves the workshop.

  1. 1
    Reference and format

    We study your project

You send us the name of the work or an image, the desired dimensions and the country of delivery.

  2. 2
    Preparation

    We define the framing

Proportions, possible adaptations and priority details are clarified before the start.

  3. 3
    Painting

The canvas is made with a brush

The painter constructs the drawing, the large masses, the colors, the details and the finishes.

  4. 4
    Validation

You receive photos and a video

You can validate the painting or request reasonable touch-ups before sending.

  5. 5
    Shipping

    Drying, protection and transport

After drying, the canvas is protected and generally shipped rolled up to limit risks.

A realistic promise

High loyalty, never a mechanical copy

A hand-painted reproduction seeks to rediscover the composition, proportions, colors, light and atmosphere of the work. However, it retains small variations in line, nuance and detail.

We prefer to explain this reality rather than promise an identity that is 100% impossible. Photographs before shipment are used precisely to control the result and to request useful corrections.

What we are looking for

Fair overall impression, convincing faces, consistent colors and good remote reading.

Which influences the result

The quality of the reference, the format, the number of characters, the complexity and style of the work.

What we refuse

Present an impression as a painting, mask the origin of an image, or promise an industrial identity.

Respect for the works

Copyright and Feasibility

We only produce reproductions whose use is legally possible. Some old works belong to the public domain, while more recent creations remain protected.

When a request concerns a work that is still protected, we may refuse it or propose another authorized solution.
