Reproduction peinte à la main d’après cette huile datée vers 1890.

Le motif est ordonné par la lumière et les plans successifs ; la topographie devient un lieu de mémoire, sensible aux transformations d’Istanbul et de ses environs. Şeker Ahmed Paşa donne au motif une gravité silencieuse. Sa touche disciplinée, formée au contact de la peinture européenne, fait entrer le paysage et la nature morte dans une tradition ottomane désormais pleinement picturale.

Chaque exemplaire est réalisé sur commande, à l’huile sur toile, sans impression numérique.
