Two pines frame the light which almost erases the sea

The church occupies the left ridge and projects a long area of shade on the slope. The two pines in the center right rise to the sky and divide the view between architecture, vegetation and maritime opening.

Pale yellow, blue green and mauve unify the sky, the sea and the slope. The dark masses of the trees and the church stand out without pure black; red and orange touches appear in the bushes in the foreground.

In W726, the setting sun does not show itself: the long shadow of the church and the yellow sky are enough to restore its position.

The large blue band leaves the church and descends towards the viewer. It materializes the low angle of the sun and gives the terrain its relief.

The foliage mixes blue, green and light touches. A dark flat area would remove the air circulating between the branches.

Respect the long shadow of the church

It must blend into the slope while remaining readable. Too clear, it would appear graphic; too weak, the effect of the sunset would disappear.
